RAISIN BATTER BREAD
A cinnamon raisin batter bread with a sugar glaze just like the school cafeteria used to make. It is a yeast bread baked in a sheet, and cut into servings after cooling. This recipe has been passed down for generations.

Tips:
- Mise en Place: Before you start baking, measure and prepare all of your ingredients. This will help you stay organized and ensure that you don't forget anything.
- Use Fresh Ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your bread will taste. If possible, use organic or locally-sourced ingredients.
- Proof Your Yeast: Proofing your yeast is an important step that helps to ensure that your bread will rise properly. To proof your yeast, dissolve it in warm water with a little bit of sugar and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, until it becomes foamy.
- Knead Your Dough Properly: Kneading your dough is an important step that helps to develop the gluten in the flour. This will make your bread more chewy and elastic. Knead your dough for at least 5-7 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
- Let Your Dough Rise: After you have kneaded your dough, let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size. This will give the yeast time to produce carbon dioxide gas, which will cause the bread to rise.
- Bake Your Bread at the Right Temperature: The temperature of your oven is important for baking bread. Most bread recipes call for a temperature of 350-375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let Your Bread Cool Before Slicing: Once your bread is baked, let it cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing. This will help to prevent the bread from crumbling.
