This is called a bread, but tastes more like a cake. I make this mostly during the holidays. The spices in this cake just lend themselves to eggnog and Christmas smells. The recipe will make 1 bundt cake, 4 small loaves, or 2 medium loaves.

Tips:

  • Use ripe, fresh plums. This will give your bread the best flavor and texture.
  • Pit the plums before slicing them. This will make it easier to slice them evenly and prevent the pits from getting into your bread.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the bread tough.
  • Bake the bread until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This will ensure that the bread is cooked through.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing it. This will help to prevent the bread from crumbling.

Conclusion:

Fresh plum quick bread is a delicious and easy-to-make treat. It's perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a snack.
