FROZEN BANANA CAPPUCCINO

Frozen Banana Cappuccino image

We've been on a real dessert kick lately which is starting to show, so we're finding better ways of doing things. This is a creamy low fat dessert or snack drink. Unlike other recipes I've seen, this one uses frozen brewed coffee, instead of ice cubes, with creamy results. Dr Rosemary Stanton says: Most iced coffee drinks at the coffee shops have up to 33g of fat,67g of sugar and 2280kj in a single serve. That's almost as much fat as a litre of full-cream milk, as much sugar as a 600ml bottle of soft drink and as many kilojoules as almost 24 kilograms of watermelon!!!

Tips:

  • Use high-quality coffee: The coffee you use will have a big impact on the flavor of your cappuccino, so it's important to use a good quality coffee that you enjoy the taste of.
  • Brew your coffee strong: Cappuccinos are typically made with a strong cup of coffee, so make sure to brew your coffee strong enough to stand up to the milk and foam.
  • Use fresh milk: Fresh milk will give your cappuccino a richer flavor than milk that has been sitting in the refrigerator for a while.
  • Heat the milk properly: The milk should be heated until it is just below boiling, but not boiling. If you boil the milk, it will lose its flavor and become rubbery.
  • Froth the milk correctly: The milk should be frothed until it is light and airy, with a creamy texture. If you don't froth the milk properly, it will be flat and watery.
  • Use a variety of toppings: Cappuccinos can be topped with a variety of ingredients, such as chocolate shavings, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Get creative and experiment with different toppings to find your favorite combinations.

Conclusion:

Frozen cappuccinos are a delicious and refreshing treat that can be enjoyed any time of day. With a little practice, you can easily make frozen cappuccinos at home. Just follow the tips above and you'll be making delicious frozen cappuccinos in no time!
