NUT AND FRUIT BREAD
This is another great holiday bread to make that belonged to my mother. She sometimes served this one, and it is a very old recipe. This bread is good the first day, but better the second. You may use dates instead of raisins if you wish.

Tips:
- Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor and texture.
- Make sure your yeast is active before using it. If it doesn't foam when you add it to warm water and sugar, it's not active and you should discard it and use fresh yeast.
- Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes. This will help develop the gluten in the flour, which will give the bread a chewy texture.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until it has doubled in size, about 1 hour. This will allow the yeast to ferment the dough and produce carbon dioxide gas, which will create air pockets in the bread.
- Bake the bread in a preheated oven until it is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped, about 30 minutes. This will ensure that the bread is cooked through and has a crispy crust.
Conclusion:
Fruit and nut yeast bread is a delicious and versatile bread that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's easy to make and can be customized with your favorite fruits and nuts. Follow these tips to make sure your fruit and nut yeast bread turns out perfect every time.
