This recipe comes from the internet, & although the original recipe calles for fresh fruit, I've used frozen! Preparation time does not include time needed to freeze the blended ingredients!

2 large bananas, ripe, peeled
1 medium avocado, ripe, peeled, pitted
2 cups frozen strawberries (etc) or 2 cups frozen cherries (etc)

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in blender or food processor & puree until totally blended.
  • If desired, add sweetner such as agave nectar, to taste.
  • Place in freezer-safe bowl with lid & freeze until hard.
  • Scrape out to serve & enjoy!

1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
1 cup pureed or mashed fresh fruit (strawberries, peaches, bananas, raspberries, etc.)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
food coloring (optional)

  • In ice cream freezer comtainer, combine all inreadients; mix well.
  • Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Freeze leftovers.
  • Vanilla Ice Cream: Omit fruit and food coloring.
  • Increase half-and-half to 4 cups.
  • Proceed as above.
  • Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream: Omit fruit and vanilla.
  • Increase half-and-half to 4 cups.
  • Add 2 teaspoons peppermint extract and 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips.
  • Proceed as above.
