½ pound sliced Swiss cheese
2 (12 count) packages Hawaiian bread rolls (such as King's®)
1 cup butter, melted
4 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
2 tablespoons poppy seeds

Steps:

  • Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Place ham and Swiss cheese slices on the bottom of the rolls and cover with roll tops.
  • Mix butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire, mustard, and poppy seeds together in a small bowl and spoon over sandwich tops. Let sit, 4 hours to overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

12 kings hawaiian dinner rolls (could substitute another good dinner roll)
1/3 c mayonnaise
12 slice thinly sliced deli ham (black forest or honey ham is best)
12 slice swiss cheese or cheddar cheese
1/2 c butter, melted
1 tsp yellow mustard
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp poppy seeds (depending on your taste or your teeth)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Cut the rolls in half with a serrated knife. Spread each half with mayonnaise. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each roll and cover with the other half. Place in a 9"x13" baking dish.
  • 3. In a bowl, combine the butter, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds. Pour over the tops of the sandwiches. Cover the dish with foil. Allow to sit and soak up the sauce on the counter for about 15 minutes.
