THREE CHEESE "NO SAUCE NEEDED" GARDEN PIZZA

Three Cheese

this is easy to fix, great tasting for veggie lovers, or all others alike who want to try something different.

Provided by April Hatmaker

Categories     Other Snacks

Time 45m

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 can(s) refridgerated pizza dough
3 clove garlic, crushed.
1 medium zucchini
2 small roma tomatoes
3 to 5 small mushrooms, fresh, sliced or as many as you like.
1 tsp to a tbsp of dried italian seasoning or to taste
1 c shredded parmesan cheese if desired on the end.
1 c any blend shredded cheese you prefer, three cheese is what we use. (or shred, blend your very own)

Steps:

  • 1. Brush olive oil in bottom of a pan such as a Pampered Chef's large stone bar Pan. . Add the pizza dough, spread evenly in the pan to the edges, add some Olive oil about a tablespoon/or two, the crushed fresh garlic together in small bowl. Brush Olive oil, crushed garlic mixture on top pizza dough spreading it around evenly. Add thinly sliced veggies (mushrooms, zucchini, roma tomatoes) even yellow squash is great and Green/orange/red/yellow bell peppers if you like. sprinkle with Italian seasoning as you like and top with the cheese. I usually add more than is required for anything with cheese because we love cheese of any kind :) NOTE: Any Pan will work, depending on the pan bake just til its done, cheese is melted, bread is slightly browned.
  • 2. Oven @ 350 for about 15/20 minutes just until its done and slightly browned. slice and immediately eat. for an added bonus sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese at the end.
  • 3. You can add or subtract any items to make it your own. Or you can dice the veggies instead of slices...There is no wrong way. Fun thing for kids to help make or family event cooking. Its a very Delicious pizza, given it has no marinara/pizza sauce which can make a veggie pizza heavy and take away from the key elements, the veggies! Adding sliced Olives is a nice touch as well.

THREE-CHEESE GARDEN PIZZA

Three-Cheese Garden Pizza image

From the Pampered Chef. *An 8 oz. can of pizza sauce may be substituted for the sliced tomato.

Provided by Kathy Lochner

Categories     Pizza

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 pkg refrigerated pizza crust dough
2 clove garlic, minced
1 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
1 medium tomato, sliced *see notes above
1 tsp dried italian seasoning
1 medium zucchini, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
1 c sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 c shredded parmean cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400. Unroll pizza crust dough onto a greased 14-inch pizza pan. Pat out dough to edges. Bake 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven.
  • 2. Spread garlic onto crust; sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Top with tomato and Italian seasoning. Layer zucchini, onion and mushrooms over tomato; sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake 15-18 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and bubbly. Cut into wedges; serve.

Tips:

  • Choose the right dough: The type of dough you use will affect the texture and flavor of your pizza. For a crispy crust, use a thin, crispy dough. For a chewier crust, use a thicker, bread-like dough.
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will make a big difference in the taste of your pizza. Use fresh vegetables, herbs, and cheese. If possible, use organic ingredients.
  • Don't overcrowd the pizza: When you add too many toppings to your pizza, it will be difficult to cook evenly. Stick to a few simple toppings, and make sure they are evenly distributed.
  • Cook the pizza at a high temperature: The higher the temperature, the crispier the crust will be. Cook the pizza at the highest temperature your oven will allow.
  • Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing: This will help to prevent the toppings from falling off.

Conclusion:

Garden pizza is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With its fresh, healthy ingredients and crispy crust, it's a perfect meal for any occasion. Whether you're hosting a party or just looking for a quick and easy weeknight dinner, garden pizza is a sure-fire hit.
