1/4 cup olive oil.
1/2 cup finely chopped onion.
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper.
1-1/2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and
deveined with tails intact
1/2 cup diced tomato drained
Salt to taste
2/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • Use fresh, succulent shrimp: The fresher the shrimp, the better the dish will taste. Look for shrimp that are firm and have a slight briny smell.
  • Marinate the shrimp: Marinating the shrimp in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs will help to infuse them with flavor and keep them moist during cooking.
  • Cook the shrimp over medium heat: Cooking the shrimp over medium heat will help to prevent them from overcooking and becoming tough.
  • Add the feta cheese at the end of cooking: Feta cheese is a delicate cheese that can easily overcook. Adding it at the end of cooking will help to prevent it from becoming rubbery.
