GARLIC DILL PRETZELS

Garlic Dill Pretzels image

I've seen a ton of seasoned pretzel recipes here on "Zaar but none are exactly like the recipe that my sister and I developed. This is our favorite version. the original recipe called for a cup of Orville Redenbacher's popcorn oil but we were looking for a way to make it a bit cheaper with the same taste.

Tips:

  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh garlic, you can use 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  • Be sure to use active dry yeast. If you use instant yeast, you will need to adjust the rising time.
  • Don't over-knead the dough. Over-kneading will make the pretzels tough.
  • Boil the pretzels for exactly 30 seconds. Boiling them for longer will make them too soft.
  • Bake the pretzels until they are golden brown. If you bake them for too long, they will be dry.
  • Serve the pretzels warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Conclusion:

Garlic pretzels are a delicious and easy-to-make snack or appetizer. They are perfect for parties or potlucks. With a few simple ingredients, you can make these pretzels in your own kitchen. So next time you are looking for a tasty treat, give garlic pretzels a try.
