Garlic-Stuffed Pork Roast With Glaze image

For even more flavor after seasoning the roast cover and refrigerate overnight -- for best results use a meat thermometor for this, stuff the roast with as many cloves as desired, I say the more the better! --- NOTE if you prefer lots of glaze, use 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1/2 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup soy sauce, cook as directed.

Tips:

  • Choose the right pork roast. A pork loin roast is a good choice for this recipe because it is a lean and flavorful cut of meat. You can also use a pork shoulder roast, but it will be more fatty.
  • Make sure the pork roast is completely thawed before cooking. This will help it cook evenly.
  • Sear the pork roast before roasting it. This will help to seal in the juices and give the roast a nice browned crust.
  • Stuff the pork roast with plenty of garlic. The more garlic, the better!
  • Roast the pork roast at a low temperature for a long time. This will help to keep the meat moist and tender.
  • Let the pork roast rest before carving. This will help to keep the juices in the meat.
  • Serve the pork roast with your favorite sides. Roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, and gravy are all good options.
