Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Choose premium basmati rice, flavorful garlic, and aromatic herbs for the best results.
  • Rinse the rice thoroughly: This removes excess starch and prevents the rice from becoming sticky.
  • Toast the rice before cooking: This adds a nutty flavor and helps the rice cook evenly.
  • Use the right ratio of water to rice: A good rule of thumb is 1 1/2 cups of water for every cup of rice.
  • Cook the rice over low heat: This allows the rice to cook gently and evenly.
  • Let the rice rest before serving: This helps the rice absorb any remaining moisture and become fluffy.
  • Season the rice to taste: Add salt, pepper, and other seasonings to your preference.
  • Garnish the rice before serving: Fresh herbs, toasted nuts, and a drizzle of olive oil add color and flavor.
