Tips:
- Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. Look for chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
- Be sure to finely chop the chocolate before adding it to the ice cream base. This will help it to melt evenly.
- Don't overcook the ice cream base. It should be thick and creamy, but not too thick or it will be difficult to churn.
- Chill the ice cream base thoroughly before churning. This will help it to freeze more quickly and smoothly.
- If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can freeze the ice cream base in a covered container and stir it every 30 minutes until it is frozen solid. This will take about 4 hours.
- Serve the ice cream immediately or store it in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
