Tips:
- For the best flavor, use fresh, ripe strawberries. If strawberries are not in season, you can use frozen strawberries that have been thawed and drained.
- Use a good quality white wine. A dry Riesling or Chardonnay works well.
- If you don't have crème fraîche, you can use sour cream or heavy cream.
- Don't overcook the strawberries. They should still have a slight bite to them.
- Serve the soup chilled, garnished with fresh mint or whipped cream.
Conclusion:
Strawberry soup is a delicious and refreshing summer soup. It is easy to make and can be served as a starter, main course, or dessert. This soup is also a good way to use up leftover strawberries. If you're looking for a light and flavorful soup to enjoy on a hot day, strawberry soup is a great option.
