Time 13m

Yield 1 1/3 cups

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 cup butter, melted
6 tablespoons Dijon mustard (or to taste)
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients well.
  • To prepare your fish, marinate your fish fillets for several hours. Prepare your grill. Once it is hot, grill your fish until it flakes easily. Baste the fish with the marinade while it is grilling. Delish!

Tips:

  • Choose the right fish: For this recipe, mild-flavored fish such as tilapia, cod, or halibut work best. Avoid fish with a strong flavor, as it will overpower the delicate Dijon sauce.
  • Marinate the fish: Marinating the fish in the Dijon sauce helps to infuse it with flavor and keep it moist during cooking. Allow the fish to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  • Grill the fish over medium heat: This will help to prevent the fish from sticking to the grill and ensure that it cooks evenly. Cook the fish for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it is cooked through.
  • Make sure the sauce is hot: The Dijon sauce should be hot when you serve it. This will help to keep the fish warm and prevent the sauce from congealing.
  • Serve immediately: Grilled Dijon fish is best served immediately. It can be served with a variety of sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Conclusion:

Grilled Dijon fish is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The Dijon sauce is flavorful and tangy, and it pairs perfectly with the mild-flavored fish. This dish is also a good source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids. So next time you're looking for a healthy and delicious meal, give grilled Dijon fish a try!
