Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of steak. A flank steak or skirt steak is a good choice for Jamaican grilled steak, as they are both relatively thin and have a lot of flavor.
  • Marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes. This will help to tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor.
  • Use a flavorful marinade. The marinade should contain a combination of spices, herbs, and citrus juice. Some popular Jamaican marinade ingredients include allspice, thyme, garlic, ginger, and lime juice.
  • Grill the steak over high heat. This will help to create a nice char on the outside of the steak while keeping the inside juicy.
  • Let the steak rest before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.

Conclusion:

Jamaican grilled steak is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a summer cookout. By following these tips, you can make sure that your Jamaican grilled steak is cooked to perfection and full of flavor.
