Tips:

  • Choose the right pork chops. Look for chops that are at least 1 inch thick and have a good amount of marbling. This will help them stay juicy and flavorful during grilling.
  • Brine the pork chops. Brining pork chops in a mixture of salt, sugar, and water helps to tenderize them and infuse them with flavor. You can brine the chops for as little as 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  • Preheat your grill. Make sure your grill is preheated to medium-high heat before you start cooking the pork chops. This will help to sear the chops and prevent them from sticking to the grill.
  • Cook the pork chops over indirect heat. Once the grill is preheated, move the pork chops to the indirect heat zone. This will help them cook evenly without burning.
  • Baste the pork chops with the glaze. Basting the pork chops with the glaze helps to keep them moist and flavorful. You can baste the chops every few minutes during cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. The pork chops are done when they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

Conclusion:

Grilled pork chops with maple cranberry glaze is a delicious and easy-to-make meal. By following these tips, you can make sure that your pork chops are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Serve the pork chops with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.
