Time 2h15m

Yield 6 steaks, 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/4-1/2 cup soy sauce (1/2 cup could be very salty for some)
6 swordfish steaks or 6 salmon steaks
1/4 cup catsup
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Steps:

  • Combine soy sauce, orange juice, catsup, chopped parsley, lemon juice, pepper, and minced garlic.

  • Remove fish from marinade, reserving marinade.
  • Grill fish over hot coals 6 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, basting frequently with marinade.

Tips:

  • To ensure the freshness of your shark, look for firm, opaque flesh that is free of any discoloration or off-putting smell.
  • For a more flavorful dish, use a flavorful beer, such as a stout or an amber ale.
  • Marinate the shark in the beer and spices for at least 30 minutes before cooking. This will help to tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor.
