GRILLED SHARK OR SWORDFISH STEAKS RECIPE - (4/5)

Grilled Shark Or Swordfish Steaks Recipe - (4/5) image

Provided by á-174942

Number Of Ingredients 8

MARINADE:
4 shark or swordfish steaks
1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 garlic clove minced
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil

Steps:

  • Combine all marinade ingredients. Marinate steaks 1 to 3 hours before grilling. Once the grill is heated, cook the steaks for about 4 to 5 minutes each side, longer if needed. This recipe yields 4 servings.

Tips:

  • Choose the right swordfish steaks: Look for steaks that are about 1 inch thick and have a firm, meaty texture. Avoid steaks that are thin or have a lot of dark spots.
  • Marinate the swordfish steaks before grilling: Marinating the steaks in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, herbs, and spices will help to flavor and tenderize them. Marinate the steaks for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours.
  • Preheat your grill to high heat: A hot grill will help to sear the swordfish steaks and prevent them from sticking. Brush the grill grates with oil to help prevent the steaks from sticking.
  • Grill the swordfish steaks for 4-5 minutes per side: The steaks should be cooked through but still slightly pink in the center. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the steaks. The internal temperature should be 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, 150 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, and 155 degrees Fahrenheit for well-done.
  • Let the swordfish steaks rest for a few minutes before serving: This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the steaks. Serve the steaks with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables, rice, or salad.

Conclusion:

Grilled swordfish steaks are a delicious and healthy meal that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. By following these tips, you can grill perfect swordfish steaks every time. Serve the steaks with your favorite sides and enjoy!
