Tips:

  • For the best results, use a combination of ground pork and ground beef. This will give the meatballs a more flavorful and juicy texture.
  • Be sure to mix the meatball ingredients thoroughly, but do not overmix. Overmixing can make the meatballs tough.
  • Gently form the meatball mixture into 1-inch balls. Do not pack the meat too tightly, or the meatballs will be dense.
  • Brown the meatballs in a large skillet over medium heat. Be sure to brown them on all sides. This will help to seal in the juices and prevent the meatballs from drying out.
  • Once the meatballs are browned, add the brown sugar sauce and bring to a simmer. Cover the skillet and simmer the meatballs for at least 30 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
  • Serve the meatballs hot over rice, mashed potatoes, or your favorite pasta.

Conclusion:

These ham meatballs in brown sugar sauce are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The meatballs are moist and flavorful, and the brown sugar sauce is sweet and tangy. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
