Tips:

  • Use fresh herbs for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs, but use half the amount.
  • Don't overwork the dough. Overworking the dough will make the focaccia tough.
  • Be patient when letting the dough rise. The dough needs to rise until it is doubled in size. This can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different toppings. You can add anything you like to your focaccia, such as cheese, vegetables, or meat.
  • Focaccia is best served warm, but it can also be enjoyed cold. Leftover focaccia can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

Herbed onion focaccia is a delicious and easy-to-make bread that is perfect for any occasion. It can be served as an appetizer, side dish, or main course. Focaccia is also a great way to use up leftover herbs and vegetables. With its simple ingredients and versatile flavor, herbed onion focaccia is a recipe that you will come back to time and time again.
