Number Of Ingredients 1

vegetable oil, hidden valley ranch dressing, 1 bag baby red potatoes

Steps:

  • 1. Pour 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil in an iron-cast skillet. Put skillet in oven and preheat the oven to 450 degrees-IMPORTANT TO DO THIS..YOU WANT THE SKILLET SIZZLING. Add 1 Packet Hidden Valley Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix and toss again until potatoes are coated with oil and seasoning. Once oven has reached 450 degrees, put potatoes in the iron-cast skillet and bake for 30-35 minutes or until potatoes are brown and crisp.

Tips:

  • Choose the right potatoes: Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes are best for roasting, as they hold their shape well and become crispy on the outside while remaining fluffy on the inside.
  • Cut the potatoes evenly: This will ensure that they cook evenly. Aim for 1-inch pieces.
  • Toss the potatoes in oil and seasonings: This will help them to crisp up and develop flavor. Use a combination of olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Roast the potatoes at a high temperature: This will help them to get crispy on the outside. Aim for 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: This will prevent the potatoes from cooking evenly. Spread them out in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Roast the potatoes until they are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside: This will usually take about 20-30 minutes.
  • Serve the potatoes immediately: They are best eaten hot out of the oven.
