Tips:

  • Use fresh hot peppers for a more intense flavor. If you can't find fresh peppers, you can use dried peppers, but be sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before using.
  • Wear gloves when handling hot peppers. The capsaicin in the peppers can irritate your skin.
  • Be careful not to overcook the muffins. Overcooked muffins will be dry and tough.
  • Let the muffins cool completely before frosting them. If you frost the muffins while they are still warm, the frosting will melt.
  • Store the muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the muffins for up to 2 months.

Conclusion:

Hot pepper jelly muffins are a delicious and festive treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and can be customized to your own taste.
