If you're looking for an easy and delicious way to prepare steak, honey mustard steak is a great choice. This dish is made by coating steak in a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce, then grilling or broiling it until cooked to perfection. The honey mustard sauce is made with a combination of honey, mustard, and spices, creating a flavor that is both sweet and savory. Honey mustard steak is a popular dish because it is relatively simple to make, and it can be tailored to your own personal preferences. For example, you can adjust the amount of honey and mustard in the sauce to create a flavor that is more or less sweet or tangy. You can also add other ingredients to the sauce, such as garlic, onion, or herbs, to create a more complex flavor profile.

The flavor of the sauce is subtle enough to allow the taste of the steak to come through. If Beef Chuck Eye Steak is not available, I would suggest Sirloin. Green Peas might be a nice alternative to the Mushrooms. Cooking is a Creative Sport.

Nearly perfect Copycat of their Honey mustard. The light corn syrup is what makes it. You also can't really make it bad, the first time I made it I put in 1/2 cup of mayo and it still turned out fine! Also if your like me you might not know what "prepared salad mustard" is; Well its just regular yellow mustard.

Time 2m

Yield 1 1/4 cups

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/2 cup prepared salad mustard
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup mayonnaise

Steps:

  • Blend all together until completely smooth.
  • *NOTE* The ingredients tend to seperate a little if left in the fridge, no problem though just give it a quick stir and its back. Also it tastes better if you make it ahead of time and let it chill for a bit in the fridge, I would say 30 minutes to an hour would be fine.

Tips:

  • Choose high-quality steak for the best flavor. Look for well-marbled cuts, such as ribeye or strip steak.
  • Tenderize the steak before cooking to make it more tender. You can do this by pounding it with a meat mallet or marinating it in a mixture of oil and spices.
  • Cook the steak over medium-high heat to get a good sear on the outside while keeping the inside juicy. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
  • Serve the steak with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.

Conclusion:

Honey mustard steak is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a special occasion or a weeknight dinner. By following these tips, you can create a perfectly cooked steak that is bursting with flavor. So next time you're looking for a new way to cook steak, give this honey mustard recipe a try.
