Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate. This will make a big difference in the flavor of your truffles. Look for chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
  • Be careful not to overmix the ganache. Overmixing will make the ganache grainy. Mix just until the chocolate and cream are combined.
  • Chill the ganache before forming the truffles. This will help the ganache set and make it easier to roll into balls.
  • Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or chopped nuts. This will give them a nice coating and help them stay firm.
  • Store the truffles in the refrigerator. They will keep for up to 2 weeks.

Conclusion:

Hot chocolate truffles are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They're perfect for any occasion, from a holiday party to a simple get-together with friends. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create these decadent little bites that are sure to please everyone.
