HOT ONION DIP
HOT ONION DIP has been a family favorite for years. I just love the sweet, cheesy onion flavor. You really can't do better than a classic hot onion dip recipe for the holidays or game day. It's perfect for dipping and oh so yummy. This is the BEST hot onion souffle dip recipe around!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Spray a 2-quart shallow baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl and using the paddle beaters, combine cream cheese and Boursin cheese. Mix until incorporated and creamy.
- Add in grated Parmesan, Gruyere and onion. Mix together well.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared dish.
- Bake at 375F for 45-60 minutes or until the top is turning golden brown.
- Remove from oven - let cool 10 minutes then serve with favorite crackers, chips and/or vegetables.

- Preheat oven to 425ºF. In the bowl of a food processor combine onion, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and mayonnaise. Process until completely smooth. Add cayenne and fold in chives. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer mixture to a 1-quart baking dish and smooth the top with the back of a spoon. Bake until browned and puffed, about 20 minutes. Cool slightly and garnish with chopped chives. Serve warm with crostini, crackers, or chips.

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Drain chopped onions in a colander, then swuuze out any excess liquid. Put onions in a medium bowl. Add cream sheese, parmesan cheese, and mayo and mix until well combined. Transfer onion-cheeese mixture to a 1 quart souffle dish (I use chafing dish), smooth top slightly with the back of a spoon. Bake dip until top is golden brown, about 20 minutes. Serve hot with corn chips, crackers, or tortilla chips.
