Steps:
- Wash the green beans and trim off the tough stem ends.
- Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot inner pot and add a steamer basket to the pot. Place the green beans in the steamer basket. If you do not have a steamer basket you can cook the green beans right in the water in the pot.
- Close the Instant Pot lid and turn the steam release valve to the sealing position. Set the pressure cook time to 0 minutes at high pressure for crisp-tender green beans. Even though the pressure cook time is set to zero, the green beans will cook while the Instant Pot pressurizes. If you want your green beans softer, set the cook time for 1-3 minutes, depending on how soft you want your green beans.
- The Instant Pot will take about 8 minutes to reach pressure. When the cook time finishes, the Instant Pot should beep a few times to let you know the cooking cycle has ended (assuming you haven't turned off the sound on your pot). Immediately quick release the pressure by carefully turning the steam release valve to the venting position. When the pin drops down carefully open the Instant Pot lid.
- Serve green beans with butter, salt, pepper, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, or as desired.

Steps:
- Place the beans, bay leaves, garlic, rosemary, olive oil, salt, pepper and 6 cups water in a 6-quart Instant Pot® and stir to combine. Follow the manufacturer's guide for locking the lid and preparing to cook. Set to pressure cook on high (or "beans" setting) and cook for 1 hour. After the pressure-cook cycle is complete, follow the manufacturer's guide for quick release and wait until the quick-release cycle is complete.
- While the beans cook, rinse the chard and kale. Remove the tough inner ribs from each leaf, then slice the leaves into 2-inch pieces. Set aside.
- Being careful of any remaining steam, unlock and remove the lid of the pot. Remove and discard the bay leaves. Set the pot to normal saute. Working in batches, stir in the Swiss chard, kale and spinach. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the greens are tender and you have a thick, creamy stew, 5 to 7 minutes.
- Taste the stew and add more salt or pepper if needed. Ladle the stew into shallow bowls, drizzle with a little olive oil, sprinkle with chives and serve with chunks of baguette.

Tips:
- Use fresh or frozen green beans: Fresh green beans are best, but frozen green beans work well too. If using frozen green beans, thaw them before cooking.
- Trim the green beans: Trim the ends of the green beans before cooking. You can also cut them into smaller pieces if desired.
- Use a variety of seasonings: Garlic, onion, salt, and pepper are all classic seasonings for green beans. You can also add other herbs and spices, such as thyme, rosemary, or paprika.
- Cook the green beans until they are tender-crisp: Green beans should be cooked until they are tender, but still have a slight crunch. Overcooked green beans are mushy and bland.
- Serve the green beans immediately: Green beans are best served immediately after cooking. They can be served as a side dish or as a main course.
