1 lb ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
16 ounces pork & beans
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
6 -9 hungry jack flakey biscuits
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Brown ground beef and strain.
  • Add next 5 ingredients and heat til bubbly.
  • Pour into 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Peel biscuits in half and lay across top.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes.

1 Medium Yellow Onion (Chopped)
1 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
3 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
15 oz Baked Beans
15 oz Diced Tomatoes
3/4 Cup BBQ Sauce
1/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1 Can Buttermilk Biscuits
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese (Shredded)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a skillet, combine ground beef, diced onion, salt & pepper, and cook until onions are soft. Add minced garlic. Mix well.
  • Add beans, diced tomatoes, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, and heat until bubbly.
  • Put mixture into a shallow casserole. Separate biscuits and cut into halves. Put biscuits on top of the beef mixture and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.

1 can (16 ounces) pork and beans
3/4 cup Kraft barbecue sauce or your favorite thick barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (10 biscuits total)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Heat the oven to 375 F.
  • In a skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat, brown the ground beef; drain well. Stir in pork and beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and minced onion; heat until bubbly.
