ICED COFFEE MOCHA

I have really been on a iced coffee kick as of late. This is one version I've tried and really like. You may use cooled coffee, but I think the flavor is better if you pour hot coffee over ice. Time doesn't include time to brew coffee.

ICED MOCHA COFFEE

Iced Mocha Coffee image

A wonderful treat, especially on a hot day. I keep a tray of coffee ice cubes in my freezer during the summer so that I can always whip up a batch of these drinks. This uses skim milk & fat-free chocolate syrup, so it's not only cheaper, but also lower calorie than the iced coffee sold at most coffee shops. I have used both brewed and instant coffee and it works well with either kind. (Prep time given is for freezing the coffee ice cubes, cook time is for actually making the drink.)

  • Pour into glasses and enjoy!

SUGAR FREE VANILLA MOCHA ICED COFFEE

SUGAR FREE VANILLA MOCHA ICED COFFEE image

I love specialty coffees but my sugar free lifestyle makes it hard to find a good one. McDonald's has a sugar free vanilla but the price is not good if you want it on a daily basis, like I do in the summer. So, I come up with this recipe and enjoy iced coffee every day. I like to make a pot of decafe in the evening and I save...

ICED MOCHA COFFEE

Iced Mocha Coffee image

This is honestly as good as the iced coffees at the fancy coffee shop but at a fraction of the cost! Keep this easy iced coffee on hand for a quick grab and go coffee. It makes a ton... great if you have a family of coffee drinkers. But, the recipe can easily be cut in half (we did for testing purposes) if you don't have a house...

Categories     Drinks

Time 1h

Number Of Ingredients 5

2/3 c (rounded/heaping cup) instant coffee powder
2/3 c (rounded/heaping cup) sugar or Splenda
9 c boiling water
7 c whole milk or whatever you like; whole milk makes a creamier drink
2-4 oz chocolate syrup (I use the kind with calcium)

Steps:

  • 1. Measure 9 cups of water plus one cup in case some boils off into a pot or kettle.
  • 2. Pour 9 cups of boiling water into your gallon container. I've got a Tupperware one that I use. Do not pour into a glass container as it might crack.
  • 3. Add instant coffee, sugar or sweetener, and chocolate syrup to the water.
  • 4. Stir until blended.
  • 5. Add 7 cups of milk to the mix and stir to blend. Chill.
  • 6. The chocolate syrup usually falls out of the liquid as it chills so be sure to shake the container before serving.
  • 7. Alternate flavors: Some of the milk can be replaced by flavored creamers for something different.

ICED MOCHA COFFEE

Iced Mocha Coffee image

A delicious chocolate flavored iced coffee, which I enjoy topped with either Cool Whip or Reddi Wip.

Provided by Cindi M Bauer

Categories     Other Drinks

Number Of Ingredients 7

8 ounces cold water
1 Tablesp. instant coffee (*see note)
3 Tablesp. chocolate syrup (*see note)
4 Tablesp. half-and-half cream (*see note)
1 to 2 individual packets of splenda no calorie sweetener, or saccharin sweetener
ice cubes
cool whip or reddi wip, to garnish the coffee (optional ingredient)

Steps:

  • 1. In a large coffee cup or coffee mug, add the water and instant coffee. (I added the ingredients to one 16-ounce coffee mug.) Place coffee cup or mug in a microwave, and microwave until coffee is heated through.
  • 2. Stir the coffee, and place cup or mug in the refrigerator for 30 minutes; to chill.
  • 3. To the cup or mug, add the chocolate syrup, half-and-half cream, plus 1-2 packets of Splenda; (I used 1-1/2 packets) stir to mix.
  • 4. Add ice cubes to a tall beverage glass. Pour coffee over the ice cubes, and top it with a dollop or two of Cool Whip or Reddi Wip.
  • 5. This makes: One serving (1-1/3 cups, or 11-ounces)
  • 6. *Note: When making this coffee beverage, I've also used a Decaf Instant Coffee, such as Maxwell House or Folgers. The chocolate syrup I use is Hershey's Lite Chocolate Syrup. Which has 50% Less Sugar, Carbs, & Calories than regular Hershey's Chocolate Syrup. Also, on occasions I have used 2 Tablespoons of Heavy Whipping Cream, plus 2 Tablespoons of 2% milk, instead of half-and-half cream.

ICED MOCHA COFFEE

Iced Mocha Coffee image

I'm a big fan of iced coffee as a cool, refreshing sort of drink. This recipe really fits that description. I originally found this recipe somewhere around the web while looking for a good iced coffee recipe, but since originally finding it, it seems to have disappeared. What I've listed here is my best recollection, based on my own personal experimentation, of the best iced mocha coffee I've had.

Provided by SemperFidelis9a

Categories     Beverages

Time 10m

Yield 6-7 cups, 4-6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 7

6 cups strong coffee (I leave this preparation to your discretion. Generally, if making six cups, I use approximately 9-12)
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup milk
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Combine the coffee grounds, cinnamon, and nutmeg in the coffee filter of an automatic coffee pot. Make sure they are well mixed.
  • Brew coffee.
  • While coffee brews, warm milk in a small saucepan.
  • When milk is warm, add the brown sugar and chocolate syrup. Stir until everything is mixed together and the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Add the vanilla extract to the milk mixture and stir to combine.
  • Pour the milk mixture into a separate container large enough to hold it and the coffee.
  • Pour in the brewed coffee and shake to mix it up.
  • Place the mixture into the refrigerator or freezer to cool. Alternatively, just drink it warm.
  • NOTE: Make sure that you mix the coffee grounds, cinnamon, and nutmeg together before you brew the coffee.
  • NOTE: You don't necessarily need to pour the coffee and milk mixture into a separate container, that's just my preference. If you have a large enough pot, you can just pour the coffee into there but make sure its mixed well.

  • If you like your coffee cold, chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • For a fun presentation, top your mocha with whipped cream and a sprinkle of chocolate chips.

Conclusion:

The iced coffee mocha is a delicious and refreshing drink that is perfect for any occasion. With its rich chocolate flavor and creamy texture, it is sure to please everyone. Whether you are looking for a quick pick-me-up or a sweet treat, the iced coffee mocha is the perfect choice.
