If you are in a hurry, try using precooked bacon, cook for a minute to make it easier to crumble. You can also trim the fat but using only 8 slices and using skim milk and reduced fat mayonnaise.

Tips:
- For a crispy crust, use a refrigerated pie crust and pre-bake it according to the package directions before filling it.
- To save time, use pre-cooked bacon. You can also cook the bacon in the microwave by placing it on a paper towel-lined plate and microwaving it on high for 2-3 minutes per side, or until crispy.
- If you don't have any buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to 1 cup of milk and letting it sit for 5 minutes.
- To make the pie ahead of time, assemble it and bake it as directed. Then, let it cool completely and refrigerate it for up to 3 days. When you're ready to serve, reheat the pie in a preheated 350°F oven for 20-25 minutes, or until warmed through.
Conclusion:
This BLT pie is an easy and delicious meal that's perfect for busy weeknights. It's also a great way to use up leftover bacon and lettuce. With its creamy filling, crispy crust, and flavorful bacon, this pie is sure to be a hit with the whole family.
