Time 8m

Yield 4-6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 cups quinoa, cooked
1 cup frozen corn
1 (16 ounce) can pink beans, drained and rinsed
1 tomatoes, chopped
1 bunch green onion, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro or 1/4 cup Italian parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon cumin, ground
Tabasco sauce

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Serve with the bottle of hot sauce on the side, so each diner can add more heat to his or her taste.

Tips:

  • Fresh is Best: For the best flavor and texture, use fresh ingredients whenever possible. This is especially important for the tomatoes, onions, and cilantro.
  • Don't Overcook the Quinoa: Quinoa should be cooked until it is tender but still has a slight bite to it. Overcooked quinoa will be mushy and unpleasant.
  • Use a Good Dressing: The dressing is what really brings the salad together. Make sure to use a flavorful dressing that complements the other ingredients.
  • Don't Be Afraid to Experiment: There are many ways to make this salad your own. Try adding different vegetables, fruits, or nuts. You can also change up the dressing to create a different flavor profile.

Conclusion:

Inca salad is a delicious and healthy dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy meal, give Inca salad a try. You won't be disappointed!
