Tips:

  • Prep Ahead: Save time by chopping vegetables, grating cheese, and assembling the casserole the night before. Refrigerate overnight and bake in the morning.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh herbs, vegetables, and bread will elevate the flavors of your brunch bake.
  • Don't Overcook: To prevent a dry casserole, bake until the center is just set and the top is golden brown. Overcooking will make the eggs rubbery.
  • Serve Warm: Italian brunch bakes are best served warm, straight out of the oven. Top with fresh herbs or a dollop of sauce for extra flavor.
