1/2 cup water
4 ounces green beans, cut into 2-inch pieces (2 cups)
1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
6 ounces whole mushrooms, cut into fourths (2 cups)
1 medium zucchini, cut lengthwise into eighths, then into 1-inch pieces
1 medium yellow onion, cut into 1/4-inch wedges
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh or 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
3/4 teaspoon salt
4 ounces cherry tomatoes, cut in half
1/2 cup shredded Asiago or Parmesan cheese (2 ounces)

Steps:

  • Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
  • Meanwhile, in 10-inch nonstick skillet, heat water to boiling. Add beans; boil uncovered 5 minutes. Cover and boil 2 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain; set aside.
  • In same skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook mushrooms, zucchini, onion, garlic, oregano and salt in oil about 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until onion is tender.

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
12 ounces evaporated milk (low fat or regular)
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded asiago cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lb bow tie pasta

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and stir just until mixed.
  • Add the evaporated milk, regular milk and chicken broth and cook, stirring often, until the sauce thickens and begins to simmer.

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (5 ounces each)
2 bacon strips, diced
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 green onion, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup uncooked bow tie pasta
1 tablespoon butter
4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup half-and-half cream
2 tablespoons chicken broth
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons shredded Asiago cheese, divided
1-1/2 teaspoons cream cheese, softened
1 plum tomato, seeded and diced

Steps:

  • Rub pepper and cayenne over chicken. Broil 4-6 in. from the heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until juices run clear. 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cubed
2 ¼ cups heavy cream, divided
¼ cube chicken bouillon, crumbled
¾ cup grated Asiago cheese
½ tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons butter
¼ cup chopped prosciutto
1 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
¼ cup sliced mushrooms
½ tablespoon parsley flakes

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain, and set aside.
