Tips:

  • Choose the right peppers. Look for fresh, firm peppers that are deep green in color. Avoid peppers that are bruised or have blemishes.
  • Properly seed and devein the peppers. This will help to reduce the heat level of the peppers and make them more palatable. To do this, cut the peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and ribs.
  • Use a food processor to make the cheese spread. This will help to create a smooth and creamy texture. If you don't have a food processor, you can use a blender or a hand mixer.
  • Add your favorite mix-ins. Some popular mix-ins for pimento cheese spread include diced ham, bacon, cooked shrimp, or chopped pecans.
  • Let the cheese spread chill before serving. This will help to firm it up and make it easier to spread.

Conclusion:

Jalapeno pimento cheese is a delicious and versatile spread that can be used in a variety of ways. It's perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or vegetables. It can also be used as a dip or a filling for deviled eggs. No matter how you choose to enjoy it, jalapeno pimento cheese is sure to be a hit!
