Time 40m

Yield 10-15 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons water
1 (17 ounce) bag caramels (60)
16 ounces salted peanuts
8 ounces milk chocolate chips (optional) or 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Steps:

  • Knead together the marshmallow creme and powdered sugar. Shape into small fingers or bite size balls. Place on waxed paper lined cookie sheets and freeze. Melt caramels with water over a double boiler (or microwave). Dip creme fingers into caramel mixture, then roll in chopped peanuts. Freeze until set. Store in refrigerator.
  • For something a little different, try dipping them into melted chocolate, Really Yummy!
  • Serving sizes are just a guess depending on how big or small you decide to make them. Also, I am not really sure on how much time these take. They are a little time consuming, but not hard.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients. This will make a big difference in the taste of your rolls.
  • Be careful not to overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the rolls tough.
  • Chill the dough before rolling it out. This will make it easier to work with and will help prevent the rolls from spreading too much.
  • Roll the dough out thinly. This will help the rolls to be crispy and flaky.
  • Brush the rolls with melted butter before baking. This will help them to brown nicely.
  • Bake the rolls until they are golden brown. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly.
  • Let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving. This will help them to set and will make them easier to handle.

Conclusion:

These salted nut rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or simply as a snack.
