SOUTHERN COLESLAW
Classic southern coleslaw is the creamiest coleslaw ever! Sweet and tangy with a rich dressing. Be sure to keep it refrigerated or on ice if you're eating outside. This contains mayo and summer heat doesn't play well with it.

KFC - CREAMY COLESLAW - CLONE
When it comes to creamy coleslaw: Kentucky Fried Chicken's Coleslaw RULES, REIGNS and ROCKS. As much for the texture as for flavor -- KFC has Got it Right. A mouthful of Heavenly Mush. After extensive research and trials in the kitchen, this is about as close as it gets. It's addictive -- And KFC always leaves you wanting more. Hope this has the same effect.

Steps:
- Shred or mince cabbage, carrots and onions very fine, to size of a grain of rice.
- Mix mayo, sugar, milk, buttermilk or sour cream, lemon juice, white vinegar, salt and pepper until smooth.
- Add sauce to the well mixed and well distributed cabbage, carrots and onion. Stir and incorporate well.
- Place in refrigerator and allow at least 2 hours before serving. Best if allowed to set in fridge overnight.
- Note: A food processor works best for mincing the veggies. The alternative is the smaller holes of a handheld shredder. Yields about a quart and a half.
- As I noted, much of the appeal of KFC's slaw is the texture as well as the flavor. Enjoy!
JUST LIKE KFC COLESLAW - COPYCAT
Creamy juicy coleslaw that the buddies at my significant other's work could not believe this was not from KFC. I have never found a recipe for the way I make it. I don't think it would be as juicy with real mayo, the sugar makes it juicy

Steps:
- Finely Chop the Cabbage and put in large mixing bowl.
- Add the other ingredients and mix well.
- Put in a container and refrigerate covered. I use a half gallon plastic ice cream container. I find it best to sit over night or for several hours -- for the flavors to blend and allow the sugar to bring out the juices. I serve in tiny desert bowls as it is quite juicy.

Tips:
- To make the coleslaw even creamier, add an extra 1/4 cup of mayonnaise.
- For a tangier coleslaw, add an extra 1/4 cup of vinegar.
- If you don't have celery seeds, you can use 1/2 teaspoon of caraway seeds.
- To save time, you can use a pre-shredded coleslaw mix.
- Be sure to chill the coleslaw for at least an hour before serving so that the flavors can meld together.
Conclusion:
This KFC Creamy Coleslaw Clone is the perfect side dish for any summer cookout or potluck. It's creamy, tangy, and refreshing, and it's sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a delicious and easy coleslaw recipe, give this one a try. You won't be disappointed!
