LEFTOVER FRIED BREADING PATTIES
This was something my mom would do with the leftover breading ingredients. As I mentioned in my bio, I was quite a finicky eater as a child. I preferred this to mom's fried chicken that she would make with the breading. Sometimes she would make extra. Quantities are approximate, since this was something to do with what was left.

LEFTOVER BREAD PATTIES
I always feel guilty about throwing away leftover bread. I once tried leaving it out for the birds, but my cat thought that was a good way to bait them, and then, well, poor birdies. This makes a very yummy light lunch or snack. If you have some really great bread and some really great cheese, you've got yourself a gourmet dish.

LEFTOVER CHICKEN CROQUETTES
A mixture of chicken, eggs, bread crumbs, sauteed onion, parsley and light seasoning make croquettes you'll go crazy for! My grandmother used to make salmon cakes; I adapted that recipe to use leftover cooked chicken.

Tips:
- Choose the right bread: Stale or leftover bread works best for making patties. Fresh bread will be too soft and may fall apart during cooking.
- Use a variety of breads: Feel free to mix and match different types of bread to create unique flavor combinations. For example, you could use a combination of white bread, whole wheat bread, and rye bread.
- Season the patties well: Don't be afraid to add plenty of seasonings to your patties. This is what will give them flavor. Some good options include garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt and pepper.
- Cook the patties until they are golden brown: This will ensure that they are cooked through and have a nice crispy crust.
Conclusion:
Bread patties are a delicious and versatile way to use up leftover bread. They can be served as a main course, a side dish, or even a snack. They are also a great way to add some extra vegetables to your diet. So next time you have some leftover bread, don't throw it away! Make bread patties instead.
