Lemon Dijon Dressing Recipe

Steps:

  • In a bowl, toss together all the ingredients until everything is well coated with the dressing, then serve.

Tips:

  • Choose the right Dijon mustard: Look for a Dijon mustard with a sharp, tangy flavor. Avoid any Dijon mustards that are labeled "sweet" or "mild," as these will not provide the same flavor profile.
  • Use fresh lemon juice: Fresh lemon juice will give your dressing the brightest, most vibrant flavor. Avoid using bottled lemon juice, as it can be bitter and lack flavor.
  • Use good quality olive oil: The quality of your olive oil will make a big difference in the taste of your dressing. Choose an extra virgin olive oil that is fruity and flavorful.
  • Whisk the dressing until it is emulsified: This means that the oil and vinegar are combined and suspended in a stable mixture. You can tell that the dressing is emulsified if it is thick and creamy, and if it coats the back of a spoon.
  • Taste the dressing before serving: Make sure that the dressing is seasoned to your liking. You can add more lemon juice, Dijon mustard, or honey to adjust the flavor.

Conclusion:

Lemon Dijon dressing is a versatile and delicious dressing that can be used on a variety of salads, vegetables, and proteins. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own personal taste preferences. With its bright, tangy flavor, lemon Dijon dressing is sure to become a favorite in your kitchen.
