LEMON LIME SLUSH
This recipe is from my Kitchen Chatter Cook book Number 1 that I published in 1982. This can be made with other flavors of frozen juices - just exchange the ones listed or just one and add another in it's place. I like cranberry/lemon too! Also the type of liquor you use can be changed just use the same amount of whatever...

Tips:
- Use fresh lemons and limes: Fresh citrus fruits provide the best flavor for a lemon-lime slush. If you can, use organic lemons and limes to avoid pesticides.
- Choose ripe fruit: Ripe lemons and limes will be more flavorful and juicy than unripe fruit.
- Use a blender or food processor: A blender or food processor is the best way to make a smooth and slushy consistency. If you don't have a blender or food processor, you can use a hand mixer, but it will take longer to get the desired consistency.
- Add ice cubes or crushed ice: Ice cubes or crushed ice will help to make the slush cold and slushy. If you don't have ice cubes or crushed ice, you can freeze some lemonade or limeade in ice cube trays.
- Add sugar or honey to taste: Lemon-lime slush is naturally tart, so you may want to add sugar or honey to taste. Start with a small amount and add more to taste.
- Serve immediately: Lemon-lime slush is best served immediately after it is made. If you need to store it, keep it in the freezer for up to 2 hours.
Conclusion:
Lemon-lime slush is a refreshing and delicious drink that is perfect for a hot summer day. It is also a great way to use up leftover lemons and limes. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a delicious and refreshing lemon-lime slush that the whole family will enjoy.
