Tips:
- Prep is key. Before you start cooking, make sure all of your ingredients are prepped and measured out. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling during the cooking process.
- Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients you use, the better your dish will taste. Look for fresh, organic ingredients whenever possible.
- Don't be afraid to experiment. Feel free to adjust the recipe to suit your own taste preferences. For example, if you like more spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. Or, if you prefer a creamier sauce, stir in a dollop of sour cream.
- Cook the pasta al dente. This means cooking it until it is just tender, but still has a slight bite to it. Overcooked pasta is mushy and unpleasant.
- Don't rinse the pasta after cooking. Rinsing the pasta will remove the starch, which helps the sauce adhere to the pasta. If you must rinse the pasta, be sure to reserve some of the cooking water and add it to the sauce.
- Add the pasta to the sauce, not the other way around. This will help prevent the pasta from sticking together and becoming clumpy.
- Serve the pasta immediately. Pasta is best enjoyed fresh out of the pot. Leftover pasta can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Conclusion:
This light penne pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is packed with flavor and nutrients, and it can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy meal, give this recipe a try.
