Tips:

  • For a creamy Caesar salad dressing, use a high-quality mayonnaise and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
  • If you don't have anchovies, you can use Worcestershire sauce as a substitute.
  • To make the dressing ahead of time, whisk all of the ingredients together and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • When choosing macaroni, look for a short, sturdy pasta such as penne or shells. Avoid long, thin pasta like spaghetti or angel hair, as they will not hold up well in the salad.
  • To cook the macaroni, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain the pasta and rinse it with cold water.
  • For the best flavor, use fresh romaine lettuce. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and wash it thoroughly.
  • To add a crunchy texture to the salad, add some chopped croutons or bacon bits.
  • Serve the salad immediately or chill it in the refrigerator for later.
