MANGO-PASSIONFRUIT MOJITOS

Mango-Passionfruit Mojitos image

A tasty riff on the mojito, this gorgeous cocktail adds tropical flavors to the traditional rum-based drink. Puréed mango brings a lush texture and rounded fruit flavor, while store-bought passionfruit juice introduces a clean and refreshing tartness; a sprinkle of specialty coconut-sea salt over the ice cubes adds crunch and balance.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe mangoes: The riper the mangoes, the sweeter and more flavorful your mojitos will be.
  • Use fresh spearmint: Fresh spearmint is essential for a refreshing mojito. If you can't find fresh spearmint, you can use dried spearmint, but it won't be as flavorful.
  • Don't over-muddle the mint: Muddling the mint releases its flavor, but if you over-muddle it, it can become bitter.
  • Use a good quality rum: The rum is the star of a mojito, so it's important to use a good quality rum. Look for a light or white rum that is smooth and flavorful.
  • Serve your mojitos immediately: Mojitos are best served immediately, as the ice will melt and dilute the flavors over time.

Conclusion:

Mango and spearmint Christmas mojitos are a delicious and refreshing twist on the classic mojito. They're perfect for any holiday party or gathering. With their sweet and minty flavor, these mojitos are sure to please everyone. So next time you're looking for a festive and flavorful cocktail, give mango and spearmint Christmas mojitos a try.
