PINEAPPLE, ORANGE, MANGO, BANANA SMOOTHIE

Pineapple, Orange, Mango, Banana Smoothie image

I make this delkcious smoothie every single morning, and not only is it an extremely healthy way to start the day but it's also very quick & simple to make! The added protein powder replaces any high-calorie protein that you might normally have on the morning (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc) and it will help keep you full longer than if it were just a pure fruit smoothie. I buy the frozen pineapple and mango chunks from Costco, and each week I buy a bunch of ripe bananas and peel them, cut them in half and throw them in a bag in the freezer. Then it takes me less than 5 mins to make it in the morning. And this has also replaced my morning coffee habit of 2 cups a day because I add 1/8 tsp of caffeine powder to it as well.

ORANGE MANGO SMOOTHIE

Orange Mango Smoothie image

Simple, low Calorie, delicious and great for breakfast (or antime in my house). Sometimes I add a Soy supplement (powdered) to this recipe and it will make it a little thicker. This is hands down my favorite smoothie. My aunt doesnt like the texture of allot of different fruits so needless to say its not in her daily diet. She really enjoyed this smoothie and requested it several times while she stayed with me. Hope you enjoy!

Tips:

  • Choose ripe mangoes and oranges: Using ripe fruits will ensure your smoothie is sweet and flavorful. Look for mangoes that are slightly soft to the touch and oranges that are bright in color and heavy for their size.
  • Freeze your fruits: Freezing your mangoes and oranges before making the smoothie will give it a thicker, creamier texture. You can freeze the fruits whole or cut them into chunks.
  • Use a high-powered blender: A high-powered blender will be able to break down the frozen fruits and ice more easily, resulting in a smoother smoothie.
  • Add other ingredients for flavor and nutrition: You can add other ingredients to your smoothie to boost its flavor and nutritional value, such as Greek yogurt, spinach, chia seeds, or protein powder.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your liking: If you find your smoothie is too tart, you can add a little honey or maple syrup to sweeten it. If it's too sweet, you can add more ice or unsweetened almond milk.

Conclusion:

This mango orange smoothie is a delicious and refreshing way to start your day or refuel after a workout. It's packed with nutrients and antioxidants, and it's easy to make. With just a few simple ingredients and a blender, you can enjoy this tropical treat in no time.
