Tips:

  • Choose fresh and high-quality seafood: Look for plump and firm shrimp and scallops with a mild, briny scent. Avoid any seafood that smells fishy or has a slimy texture.
  • Marinate the seafood: Marinating the shrimp and scallops in a mixture of maple syrup, orange juice, soy sauce, and spices helps to infuse them with flavor and tenderize them.
  • Cook the seafood properly: Overcooking can make the seafood tough and rubbery. Cook the shrimp and scallops until they are just opaque and cooked through. A good rule of thumb is to cook them for about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Use a variety of vegetables: The vegetables in this recipe provide a colorful and nutritious complement to the seafood. You can use any vegetables that you like, but some good options include bell peppers, onions, and zucchini.

Conclusion:

Maple Orange Shrimp and Scallop Kebobs are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The combination of sweet and savory flavors is sure to please everyone at your table. Serve them with rice or noodles and a side of steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
