Categories     Poultry Appetizers

Time 10h

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 lb chicken drumsticks (or thighs)
1 c mojo ( bottled marinade)
1 bottle beer
1 Tbsp powdered garlic
salt/pepper ( your taste)
1/4 c olive oil

Steps:

  • 1. put chicken in a large plastic bag, add all the ingredients
  • 2. marinade for 8 hours or over night
  • 3. bake at 325 for 2 hours..(slow & low) turning halfway. This can also be done on the grill...delicious, falls off the bone goodness.

Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken drumsticks: Look for drumsticks that are plump and have a good amount of meat on them. Avoid any that are bruised or have any blemishes.
  • Use a flavorful marinade: The marinade is what will give your chicken drumsticks their delicious flavor. Be sure to use a marinade that has a good balance of sweet, sour, and savory flavors. You can find many different marinade recipes online or in cookbooks.
  • Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes: The longer you marinate the chicken, the more flavor it will absorb. If you can, marinate the chicken for several hours or even overnight.
  • Cook the chicken drumsticks over medium heat: This will help to ensure that the chicken cooks evenly and doesn't burn.
  • Baste the chicken drumsticks with the marinade while they are cooking: This will help to keep them moist and flavorful.
  • Serve the chicken drumsticks with your favorite dipping sauce: Some popular options include barbecue sauce, honey mustard, and ranch dressing.

Conclusion:

Marinated chicken drumsticks are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion.
