Steps:
- In a food processor, combine feta, milk, walnuts, oregano, pepper, lemon juice and hot sauce until smooth and creamy.
- Scoop the feta dip with a spatula from the processor into a serving bowl and garnish with red pepper and olives.
- Serve with crispy flat breads, cut pitas and cucumbers for dipping.
- Enjoy! ;).
Tips:
- Choose the right feta cheese: Use a good quality feta cheese that is firm and crumbly. Avoid using feta cheese that is too soft or watery.
- Use fresh herbs: Fresh herbs like dill, parsley, and mint add a lot of flavor to the dip. If you don't have fresh herbs, you can use dried herbs, but they won't be as flavorful.
- Don't over-mix the dip: Over-mixing the dip will make it smooth and creamy, which is not the desired texture. The dip should be slightly chunky.
- Chill the dip before serving: Chilling the dip before serving allows the flavors to meld and develop. It also makes the dip easier to spread.
- Serve the dip with a variety of dippers: Serve the dip with a variety of dippers such as pita chips, crackers, vegetables, and bread.
Conclusion:
Mediterranean Feta Dip is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It is made with just a few simple ingredients and can be ready in minutes. The dip is creamy, tangy, and flavorful, and it is sure to be a hit with your guests. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy appetizer, give Mediterranean Feta Dip a try.
