Tips:

  • Use a good quality beer and molasses for the sauce. A dark, robust beer will give the sauce a rich flavor, while a light beer will make it more mild. Molasses adds sweetness and depth of flavor to the sauce.
  • Don't overcook the steak. Memphis-style strip steak is typically cooked to medium-rare or medium, so be careful not to overcook it or it will become tough.
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, making it more tender and flavorful.
  • Serve the steak with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, green beans, or coleslaw.

Conclusion:

Memphis-style strip steak is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. The steak is cooked to perfection in a flavorful beer and molasses sauce, and it is sure to please everyone at the table.
