1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
⅓ cup vegetable oil
⅓ cup milk
1 egg
½ teaspoon almond extract
1 cup fresh pitted and quartered sweet cherries
1 tablespoon white sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • Mix flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.

1/3 cup almond paste, crumbled (about 3 ounces)

1/2 cup chopped candied lemon and/or orange peel
1/2 cup candied cherries, quartered
Confectioners' sugar, for dusting

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, cardamom and salt in a medium bowl. Whisk the eggs, milk, 1 1/2 sticks melted butter, the almond paste and vanilla in a large bowl (it?s OK if the almond paste is still a little chunky). 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1 3/4 cups flour
2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup canola oil
3/4 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups pitted sweet cherries

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375. Line muffin tins with liners or spray with cooking spray.
