Time 11m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 3

1/2 cup clarified butter or 1/2 cup melted butter
2 tablespoons maggi seasoning (liquid found by A1 etc...in stores)
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)

Steps:

  • Melt the butter, the restaurant clarifies it, but I don't take the time--excellent either way.
  • I don't measure the Maggi's out exactly, I do it by color and my taste preference, should be about 2 tablespoons.
  • Then add mushrooms.
  • Simmer on low until mushrooms are done.
  • This can be a bit salty so you may want to taste as you add the Maggi's.
  • This is one of my specialties--everyone asks for the recipe.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe tomatoes. This will ensure that your sauce has the best possible flavor.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan. If you add too many tomatoes to the pan at once, they will not cook evenly and the sauce will be watery.
  • Cook the sauce over low heat. This will allow the flavors to develop and deepen.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste. Be careful not to over-season the sauce, as you can always add more salt and pepper later.
  • Use a variety of herbs and spices. This will give your sauce a more complex flavor.
  • Let the sauce simmer for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together and create a rich, flavorful sauce.

Conclusion:

Michigan sauce is a delicious and versatile sauce that can be used on a variety of dishes. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. Whether you like it spicy, sweet, or savory, there is a Michigan sauce recipe out there for you. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy sauce to make, give Michigan sauce a try. You won't be disappointed.
