Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line 12 count muffin tin with cupcake liners. In a large bowl, combine the beaten egg, milk, steak sauce, uncooked quick cooking oats, beef and salt.
- 2. Divide mixture into twelve equal portions. Insert one cheese cube into center of meat and roll in hands to form the meat around the cheese into a ball. Place into muffin tin and continue with remaining meat and cheese.
- 3. In a separate small bowl, combine the ketchup and brown sugar. Stir thoroughly and spread over each mini meatloaf.
- 4. Bake uncovered on center oven rack for 25 minutes.
Tips:
- Use a variety of meats: For the best flavor, use a combination of ground beef, pork, and veal. You can also use lamb or turkey, if you prefer.
- Season the meat well: Use a generous amount of salt, pepper, and garlic powder to season the meat. You can also add other herbs and spices, such as oregano, basil, or thyme.
- Stuff the meatloaves tightly: This will help to prevent them from falling apart when you bake them.
- Bake the meatloaves at a high temperature: This will help to create a crispy crust on the outside and a juicy center.
- Let the meatloaves rest before slicing: This will help to keep the juices from running out.
Conclusion:
Mini stuffed meatloaves are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for any occasion. They are also a great way to use up leftover meat. With a little planning and preparation, you can have a delicious and satisfying meal on the table in no time.
