CROCK POT MOIST AND TENDER WINGS

Crock Pot Moist and Tender Wings image

My DH couldn't stop raving over these, extremely moist, but not so much that they disintegrated in the crock pot! I used a 5 lb. package of TOTALLY frozen wings, so that the sauce was probably thinner than it was supposed to be, and so during the last 1/2 hour I removed the lid and turned the crock pot on high. (I did not have to adjust cook time) Recipe is from 'TOH' Slow Cooker Recipes

Tips:

  • Choose the right wings: Look for wings that are plump and have a good amount of meat on them. Avoid wings that are thin or have a lot of feathers.
  • Pat the wings dry: Before cooking, pat the wings dry with paper towels. This will help the wings to crisp up in the oven.
  • Season the wings liberally: Don't be afraid to season the wings generously with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices. This will help to give the wings flavor.
  • Bake the wings at a high temperature: For crispy wings, bake them at a high temperature (400 degrees Fahrenheit or higher) for a short amount of time (20-25 minutes).
  • Let the wings rest before serving: After baking, let the wings rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the wings, making them more tender and juicy.

Conclusion:

No matter which recipe you choose, you're sure to end up with delicious, moist, and tender wings that your family and friends will love. So fire up your oven and get started!
